After rediscovering this amazing musical gem from the TV show House, MD (from Season 3, Episode 15–”Half-Wit”, composed by Jon Ehrlich,) I decided I wanted to try to reproduce it as accurately as possible using Propellerhead Reason 4.0. Here’s the result. It took about an hour and a half to sequence, and was done entirely with a regular computer mouse and keyboard (not a MIDI/musical keyboard.) Constructive criticism welcome. For those interested, I’ve made a MIDI file of the sequence available here: heap.joshdick.net If you’re going to use it for anything, be sure to credit this YouTube video!
