This video demonstrates a rather untraditional way of recording a Hammond B-3 in a home environment. The video was actually recorded in the middle of the night without disturbing the neighbors. Let me know what you think about the sound ! To watch the video in stereo, please use the following link: www.youtube.com Due to many email requests I will provide some more info here: This vintage B-3 is connected directly to the soundcard of the PC and recorded using Cubase (professional audio recording application). The VB3 plugin is loaded as an “insert” effect on the stereo audio track in Cubase where the organ input is routed to. This means that the Hammond audio signal is routed through the VB3 Leslie effect for recording and monitoring. The spring reverb is also a part of the VB3 plugin ! Hope everyone understands how that works, otherwise you need to do some research about DAW recording on your own ;-)
