Unpacking my new Allen & Heath Xone:92 and two Xone:1D
This video shoes the brand new overworked Allen & Heath Xone:1D and a Xone:92 (not yet in action, but the unpacking). I switched over from a Xone 3D and have to say: this gear rocks more than any other DJ tools! In combination with Native Instruments Traktor Pro this really takes DJing to the next level. Ich bin gerade vom Xone:3D gewechselt und muss sagen: dieses Equipment rockt mehr als jedes andere DJ-Tool! In Kombination mit Native Instruments Traktor Pro bringt es DJing wirklich auf das nächste Level. Der Film ist ähnlich wie ein Stop Motion Film gemacht.

@titte1989 2x Xone 1D + DJM1000 + 2 x Technics SL’s + Traktor Scratch ( timecode ) + 2x Cdj 900/2000 ( no timecode because audio 8 supports 4 stereo outputs, not 6 )
djm 1000 has 6 channels
2 x midi ( Xone 1d’s )
2 x timecode vinyl ( Timecode , or vinyl with traktor mulicables )
2 x CDJ’s

Yo is this setup better than just getting the 4D mixer. I am wondering because I don’t know what to get either Xone:92 and two Xone:1D or a Xone 4D

The Xone92 (in the middle) is the audio mixer.
The two Xone1D units are MIDI controllers which can be used to control DJ software.
They don’t play CDs or do anything on their own. They have to be connected to a computer.
question. those to things u apply next to it… is that just a part of the main mixer? Or shuld they be like the cd players?
I mean is that big pieace + those to small at the sides, is that the mixer?

Yes mate, it does not have a built in one, spend a little more and get a 2d which will have what your after.
92 has 4 band eq though, 4d & 3d dont, i think this is the best way to do things, and if a unit needs repaired your not loosing you whole rig.
just wondering would i be able to plug my mixer (which is connected to my 2 cdjs) into the 1d , could i mix with the cdjs and the 1d. if not would i have to get a soundcard like the audio 8
4d has lfo as well and more fx

mattsteeper the ways throw the mixer and the midi section are shortter because its in one pice..but its an opinon thing
Why is two 1ds and a 92 better than a 3d? what about a 1d and 2d and a 92 is that even better?

One thing I just remembered are the eq’s. the 92 has low mids and high mids. the 3d hasn’t.
The difference between a 3D and this setup is that the 3D has an built-in audio interface. So if you want to use this properly on 4 channels you need an extra audio interface.
That’s the same question I was asking myself right at the beginning of this video :D
