ok i have a desperate question. i have the vst folder set for ezdrummer and everyting but it wont show up on the plug-in list. i looked at forums for help and everyone is having the same issue. im working with ableton 7.

i dont know if anybody answered you two months ago, and you may have discovered what to do.
EZDrummer isn’t a program its self, but you want to import it as a vst.
can you PLEASE tell me how to set up the 2 programs together. I have been having a hard time. I just got a toneport ux2 and live came with it. I also bought ezdrummer. but I cant figure out how to using them both at the same time.

I have the excact same problem.
you need to run it through a program. EZdrummer is a vst. As you can see, this guy is running EZdrummer through Abelton. Cubase, ProTools, Frootyloops are all programs you can run EZdrummer through. Once you have That working, you will need to get the Latin percussion expansion

I’m using ezdrummer with ableton and everything centered. For example: Ableton shows (on the level meter and pan knob) that the hi hat is panned to the left but i can only hear it in the center. The same goes for all the percussion in ezdrummer. It wasnt doing this before. Even when I export as a wav, Everything is still centered. It seems no one has this problem.
this is all very well but you have already opened ezdrummer in the program – how did you do that

I am also trying to use EZdrummer with Ableton live 7 but the problem is that EZdrummer doesn’t even show up in the plugins list..
Does anyone know what i might be doing wrong?
in the right hand panel find the plugins section,if not already enabled then enable plugins,ez drummer will be in the list once enabled,then creat a midi track and drag and drop the ez drummer name into the track,everything is drag and drop,to then view or edit the ez look along the bottom and click the spanner and ez will appear,hope this helps,oh also the drum patterns are drag and drop too
can you have every ezdrummer instrument on a separate ableton track, so you can mix them in ableton?
