M-Audio projectmix I/O Test At Home
i did a test of the project mix with Cubase sx3 in the video you can see how well they connect… it control the volum, pan and almost everything so see a very little part of what it can do… and for those of you who just liked the song: eskimo – Sex-A-Holica from the album – Balloonatic Part 2

i would expect anyone who has spent the thousand dollars and has in their possession a projectmix to realise what it is and what it is for

i’m not shure i understand your question…you ask if you need an external sound card? because if you have the projectmix; that is your sound card..the projectmix is not a mixer. first its a sound card with 8 xsl/pl inputs and also its a controller for your software…and it cant work without a computer….

lol this is reallt weard i also have b2 condenser…and also the projectmix of course…so if we both have the same equipment and i dont have that problem i can only gess that the problem is with the cabel…if its not that i dont know why this could happen; sorry…i hope you get it fixed
Hey I Have A Behringer B2 Pro Studio Condenser Microphone with Shockmount And The Project Mix And IF I dont Have The Phantom Power Button On It Doesnt Work But If I Do It HAs A Ring Noise To It Can Some One Help
Love the projectmix I/O just need to use other mic pres..
They don’t “dance”… If you hold “ZOOM” when your ProjectMix Starts up, and then let go once its loaded, it will go into “Vegas Mode”, which just tests all the faders/LEDs…etc

in cubase i opened 8 channels, automated them up and down and offset every channle so it look like a wave
you can see in cubase that the volum of the channle is going up and down

I mean, whatever someone learned on, whatever works, works. No one DAW is better for all.
Just get Protools for final mastering, that’s the one program everyone must learn.

lol i know and you are absolutly right but i started using cubase along time ago before i bought this beautiful console…ind i dont want to now learn pro tools althow it make no sence…i am working with avid (a video editing company) who bouth m audio…and avid and pro tools are programs which work together…so i should start learning pro tools someday now….
it is cubase i’m using…and this device is in bitween what you described…it is a audio card with 8 inputs…its not a mixer because it cant work without a computer…but like a digital mixer you can record 8 (and more) channels in real time every one to another channel in cubase…for more information you can check m-audio’s website…this device is not that expensive for the things it can do…
