Ableton Tutorial – Sampling Techniques
1st tutorial ever! This is a quick little look at Ableton Live and a way you can use it to sample. Basically just recreating a song I’ve already made to show you how easy it is to sample something and use it in your beat making. Thank you. Haven’t really wanted to toy with samples until I heard Cyberoptix-Lullaby on myspace. Very informative and worth 11 minutes of my time.

so much for me using the sampler.
I’m using the ableton live 7 edition that came with my AKAI APC40 and every time I click a folder to open music with it the same way he does, it opens but there’s no songs in there (like an empty folder). I’m a total noob with ableton, but does any one know why it would be doing that? Do I need to convert the MP3 files or something?
