my favorite piano right now is the galaxy II piano, incredible amount of feeling and nuance
@MrBebopxx I dont know if what you are hearing is a tuning problem as much as it is the overwhelming room sound your hearing because on this demo her piano is not close mic’d its just bleeding thru the mic used to pick up her talking.
@jomarcavalcanti yeah its all about personal taste and what library/sound has the particuliar combination of elements that really strikes YOUR OWN funny bone. Can really make a difference of how you feel when you play. It may be smart to exchange the piano you love with the piano that sounds great when you are mixing,..hehehe… but when tracking definately go with the piano that makes you feel good!
She’s so over-rated anyway… a mediocre to sub par piano player at best

No I don’t have perfect pitch ( that is something you’re born naturally with ), but I do have good relative pitch. It doesn’t take a trained ear to hear how horribly out of tune this piano is… the unisons are out. She should have at least had it tuned, before this video presentation. Listening to an out of tune piano for me, is like listening to nails on a blackboard & makes me wince!
@emilshere yeah it does have a different feel the weight and its just soOoo much better and different idk why… just the material used … who knows but i cant ever see an age where electronic midi sounds will be better than a live performance on a nice well tuned expensive grand, can you?

Where do you get this bullshit? Or are you confusing this product with their older virtual piano, which is also Bösendorfer? Vienna Imperial has 100 different velocity layers per key and over 1000 samples per key. Yes, that’s something special. Even of it would be just 50 per key it would STILL be special.
Also the samples take about 500 GB. I think we are pretty much past the 50 notes…
Study things, before you post these ignorant comments.
@Paramite84 VLS has sampled only 50 notes for its Vienna Imperial. Nothing special.
@MuzioClementi 12 samples is pretty good. Not ideal, but good.
Today’s modeling technologies are still can’t produce realistic sound. In future maybe.
Her piano is so out of tune.. makes my ears twinge!!

they dont have a seperate mic for this demo it sounds like the piano sound is coming through just the room mic…….strange…. I want to hear the sound of the actual virtual innstrument
@MuzioClementi Classical pianists want the feel , dynamics, and response of a real piano.. the way the keys control the hammers is very organic. No midi control has that I agree. , I think that is what they really miss most of all, when using samples.. the nuances like half pedaling, etc….samples do not provide…. but as far as the regular sound of just hitting notes… they do provide that very well.
I use my motif xs with it.. it sounds too darn good.. I was used to have an axiom 61 cheap but good midi controller.
@jomarcavalcanti the logic 8 yamaha is ok as long as you have a very good midi keyboard. if you’re using the actual computer keyboard, it can start to sound a little monotonal.
@ikkejick It’s so funny this sound thing.. I have an xs and a electro 3.. both great sounds.. but to me one of the best sounds that I’ve ever listened is the yamaha piano on logic 8 lol and I even have the 9 series.. but see how funny it is.. peace be with you..

12 samples per key? Sounds like just another shitty sampled piano product that in no way resembles authenticity or genuine piano sound / feel. The future is in modeling people! Get with the times!
I think she’s found a piano sound that she likes and wanted to share that with people, this is clearly the greatest crime against music ever.
Music isn’t about sharing or communicating. No, it’s about proving you’re the best at what you play only so that you can say you’re the best.
She’s probably not the best piano player and that’s probably not the best sound, who cares? It’s a product people can buy if they like the sound.

And What?? She is supposed to sound like a man??? Hell nah, she has a beautiful smooth, feminine voice, singing or speaking. Can’t expect a brighter comment from a boy whose mom sound like minnie mouse.
