This is a little tutorial about creating and processing percussion grooves with samples. For this example I used Cubase 5, Kontakt 3 and as for the samples, the Dhol from “Tonehammer”. Hope you enjoy!

Edit : To anyone who can hear but not see the bass … I played and recorded it into Cubase but didn’t put the video of me playing it, that’s why you can only hear it … Hey , as the title reads, we’re a virtual band and never met to record and mix the whole thing down ! It’s all about exchanging MP3 and AVI files ! ! This was pretty fun to do , quite challenging too ! Feel free to comment !
