I was in january in helsinki getting the last album sinkut, so playing along made me think to do this here. So here’s jää or glass how it’s in the english version called as my own cubase version… here I show how I programmed the chorus oart by part. that’s a long video but just watch… watch out till the end of the video, I tried something amazing with the help of adobe auditons vocal filter! ;o) Used Steinberg tools: Cubase SX virtual Bassist 2 Hypersonc 2 Groove Agent 2 Virtual Guitarist Electric Edition Virtual Guitarist Played in with Yamaha E-Piano PDP-100 with midi interface and my “ears” I can’t read notes. And I don’t want to read them… *laugh I am making music since i was a child. I “play by hearing”. I first started with keyboard later e-piano and guitar. All these three things work quite well. I hear a song and after a short while I am able to play it. More text info in the other music stuff I have uploaded!

Hey there, umm I was wondering about the virtual guitarist, does it have the electric guitar sound as well or only like.. groovy kinda guitar sounds, what I basically mean is like, a non distorted rock song.
I am not sure if I could play e-bass. but haha… well I try all by myself I never really learned keyboard or guitar either but it works great. soo I guess trying is all… I never go the standardways somehow. I just take the instrument and try untill it works…
this is a virtual bassplayer VST addon. thats the reason why it sounds real as a handplayed e-bass. I play in the phrases with keyboard (or use programs) and I have to setup the amplifier-microphoning and racksetups just like a real bassist rig setup. quite tricky to get the sound right.
do u use a bass guitar when recording the bass or just a synth?

Was Tiktak very popular in Germany? I thought their fanbase was mostly in Scandanavia and Russia? But hey, I live in the U.S. I’m the odd duck around here ;)
i don’t like the style much but you did good work in cubase.
steinberg doesn’t continue the work on most of this VSTs. I was looking for VG2 on ebay, but I must say for a tool where you have NO update support anymore I won’t spend 200€ this just too much. And I don’t make any money with music so…. In one way, real e-gits would be greater. I mean, I can play that too OK… but the problem is I won’t be able to recored it that perfectly as VGs guitars are recorded. they are just prefect.
Nice work!.. damn I need to download Virtual Bassist now. Also, I agree it’s frustrating not to have any decent guitar emulators available. I heard however that Virtual Guitarist 2 is quite good at it… only it’s impossible to find it on the net :(
