Very good advice but I would use a real, natural sounding drum kit for purpose of tutorial. In this shitty electro music everything sound the same although I got your point and I agree.
such a simple tweak for a huge effect!! thanks dude!
NICK IS THE MAN!!!

Or you can manipulate the EQ in order to crystallise some sound frequencies over others.

u should put now some tuts. how to generate a complex sounds like bass, lead, pluck from simple waveforms using synths like operator or analog.
fantastic
I think they use reverb and ambiance for that effect. The greater the reverb, the more distant sound becomes.
Now that would be telling ;) lol
what video capture software do you use?
Hey, thanks a lot for the tutoria… – great Tips..! – i have a question that hopefully you can help me out with.. – I’ve heard some good productions where you can literally feel certain sounds begin way on the back, and some right on your face… such as: upright bass and acoustic guitar on the ‘back’ and the voice, very clear and crispy in front… how do they do that sort of ”forwarda – back” panning..? (no left and right panning there) – is it just a manipulation of volumes..??
you make the best ableton tutorials on youtube m8
agreed! good pacing so it’s easy to remember the steps. thanks!
Much appreciated :)
I’ve watched several of your videos today and I’ve got to say that your pace/delivery/explanations are paced just perfectly. Don’t change a thing. :-)
